Answer: B - The Treaty of Locarno began to create more productive relations between Germany and Western Europe. It was one of the few treaties brokered by the short-lived League of Nations. Signed in 1925, the agreement secured Germany's western border, a move intended to demonstrate to France and Belgium that Germany had accepted the territorial losses of World War I.
