Answer: C - The Defenestration of Prague ignited the Thirty Years’ War. The 1617 election of Archduke Ferdinand II of Austria to be the Crown Prince of Bohemia was upsetting for the Bohemian nobility, who, the following year, threw Ferdinand’s advisors out of windows in Prague during an altercation. The event- known as the Defenestration of Prague- led to the Bohemian Revolt, which subsequently started the Thirty Years’ War.
