  1. The driver has symptoms.
  2. The AAA is greater than or equal to 5 cm.
  3. The AAA is greater than or equal to 2 cm but less than 5 cm.
  4. The AAA has increased more than 0.5 cm during a 6-month period, regardless of size.
Explanation
Answer: C - The AAA is greater than or equal to 2 cm.

In the event that a driver is found to have an AAA, a medical examiner must recommend not to certify in each of several instances.

These include: the driver has symptoms (no matter the size of the AAA); Recommendation for surgical repair, regardless of AAA size; Is greater than 4 cm but less than 5 cm and the driver does not have medical clearance for commercial driving from a cardiovascular specialist; Has increased more than 0.5 cm during a 6-month period, regardless of size; the AAA is greater than or equal to 2 cm but less than 5 cm. An AAA that is greater than or equal to 2 cm is not grounds for a recommendation not to certify.
