Answer: A - Hammurabi was the ruler of Babylon from 1795 -1750 BC. He was known for a set of laws called the Code of Hammurabi, which are tablets that stood about eight feet tall and rediscovered in Asia. Included in this code, is the law, “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.” During his time, the king expanded the borders of Mesopotamia through a series of conquests of the surrounding area.
