Answer: A - Jesus was from Nazareth, a town in the northern region of Israel called Galilee. Galilee was not part of Roman Judaea, a province of Rome that consisted of three regions within Israel. Judea, Samaria, and Idumea were part of Roman Judaea; the town of Bethlehem, where Jesus was born, was in Roman Judaea, near Jerusalem. The Romans ultimately executed Jesus in Jerusalem.
