Answer: D - De-Stalinization under Khrushchev began to challenge Stalin's mythic status and address some of the atrocities committed under his rule. In 1961, he took the first steps to remove Stalin's highly visible presence in public culture by changing the name of Stalingrad to Volgograd and relocating Stalin's corpse from its place next to Lenin to a discrete grave among other Russian revolutionaries. Khrushchev did essentially maintain Stalin's foreign policy, and the Cold War reached its height under his rule with the Cuban Missile Crisis and the building of Berlin Wall.
