Answer: C - A total station is considered to be superior to a theodolite because of its digital integration and higher precision. However, total stations are much more expensive and require more training to use than theodolites. Total stations are more reliable when performing surveying jobs spanning large distances and/or challenging terrain. But for simple surveys of smaller areas, theodolites can do the job just as well.
