Answer: A - Sojourner Truth's "Ain't I a Woman" speech, delivered at the Women’s Convention in Akron, Ohio in 1851, reminded the mainstream women's movement of the plight of African-American women and articulated the need to make the women's movement more inclusive. The majority of those in the women's movement were middle class and white; however, like the abolitionist movement, the women's movement also had a significant following in communities of free African American women.
