Answer: D - Local Police Departments do not normally request to review site development plans.

Planning and Zoning Departments review the plans to ensure the proposed land use is permitted and that related requirements such as building setbacks, subdivisions, and parking are addressed. Fire Departments (and/or Fire Marshal’s Offices) typically review development plans for fire prevention and hydrant placement and may issue use permits for the purpose of setting conditions for development or use. Engineering Departments may review land development plans for floodplain impact, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and water and sewer service.
