Answer: B - “Tell me about your greatest weaknesses” elicits information that is beneficial, legal and ethical. This question gives you information about the applicant’s insight and their ability to meet, or not meet, the essential components, or aspects, of the job. For example, the interviewer will not likely hire a nurse who responds to this question by stating that they cannot establish priorities or they cannot meet deadline. On the other hand, if the prospective employee tells you about a weakness that they have corrected, this may be considered as a desirable attribute.
