Answer - C - Clostridium botulinum is the world’s most toxic poison - food poisoning. The poison is due to improper food storage. It is an anaerobic, gram-positive, spore-forming rod that produces a neurotoxin. Onset of symptoms is usually 18 to 36 hours after the ingestion of toxin-containing food. Early common signs include a marked lassitude, weakness, vertigos, difficulty speaking and swallowing, and difficulty in breathing, muscle weakness, abdominal distention, and constipation.
