Answer: D - The materials used in bone grafts are auto, allograft bone, alloplastic, and bovine. Autografts are created from the patient’s bone that is taken from the oral cavity or hip. Allograft bone is developed from freeze-dried human cadaver or living donor bone. Alloplastic graft is hydroxyapatite covered plastic or synthetic bone. Bovine or cattle bone is processed to extract the hydroxyapatite component and then used as any other grafting material.
