By saving (or exporting) the brochure in a .pdf format, the file will retain all of the settings and qualities of the original version of the document even if the file is viewed on a different type of computer or does not have fonts installed to their system that the author used in the brochure. However, .pdf files are incapable of transferring audio or video embedded in a document.
