Answer: C - The Hopi and Zuni peoples resided in the Pueblos of the American Southwest. These tribes would work together to throw off the Spanish in the Pueblo Revolt of 1680. The Spanish forced the residents of the Pueblos to work for them, often causing starvation among the tribes, since their own work was neglected to serve the Spanish. This and the repression of Native American culture caused the resistance to Spanish rule.
