Answer: D - B-Scan is usually advised to diagnose abnormalities in the vitreous.

Because it is difficult to visualize abnormalities in the vitreous in presence of a hazy media, a B-scan is advised. It is very useful in diagnosis of vitreous hemorrhage, ocular tumors encroaching into the vitreous, and foreign body in the vitreous. It also has many other indications, such as to rule out presence of retinal detachment in mature cataract.
