Answer: A- patient has developed nosocomial infection because when patient was admitted he was absolutely normal except pain in hip joint. During his admission he acquired some infection and developed fever, sore throat. Total leukocyte count was also raised which was showing infection. Most probably the patient has got infection after the admission in the hospital. This is called nosocomial infection.
