The Praxis II tests are subject-knowledge teacher certification exams given by ETS and recognized by 30 states for licensure for public school teachers at all levels - elementary school, middle school, and high school.

The Praxis II Chemistry Content Knowledge (0245) is a two-hour exam with 100 multiple choice questions. The exam is paper delivered and a calculator is prohibited. The Praxis Chemistry exam is directed towards aspiring Chemistry teachers in secondary schools.
