There are about 45 questions on the standard level IB Biology Exam and about 55 questions on the higher level IB Biology exam. Both versions of the exam are divided into three categories: Multiple Choice (30 questions for standard level, 40 questions for higher level), Written Response (5-7 questions for standard level, 6-8 questions for higher level), and Data Analysis (6-8 questions for standard level and higher level).
The standard level IB Biology Exam is three hours and 15 minutes long, and the higher level IB Biology Exam is four hours and 30 minutes long.
A good passing score for the IB Biology Exam is typically considered to be 24 or higher.
