The Educational Testing Service (ETS) High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) Language Arts – Writing exam is a high school equivalency exam testing aptitude and skills in writing. The test is available as either a computer based or paper based exam dependent on the US state it is administered in.
The test consists of 50 multiple choice questions and 1 essay question. 75 minutes are allotted to complete the multiple choice section, and 45 minutes are allotted to complete the essay section.
