The California Real Estate Exam is administered by the State of California Department of Real Estate for prospective salespersons and brokers applying for licenses. All salespersons and brokers must pass the written exam in order to qualify for a license in California.
Exams are scheduled based on the volume of applicants. Test-takers may choose from five locations across California: Fresno, San Diego, Los Angeles Vicinity, Oakland, and Sacramento.
The salesperson test includes 150 multiple choice questions in one sitting. The broker test includes 200 multiple choice questions completed in two sittings on the same day.
This practice exam will help you not only review key real estate concepts, but also familiarize yourself with the multiple choice written exam format that you will encounter on test day.
To supplement this free practice quiz, we strongly recommend full exam preparation from our sponsor United Realty Media, which offers a high quality web-based training for the California Real Estate Exam.
