The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANCP) Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) examination is a computer-based, entry-level 3 hour examination testing nurse practitioner knowledge and expertise for the specialty of Adult Nurse Practitioner. Each examination consists of 150 questions, including 15 pre-test questions not counted in the test taker’s score. Each exam is scored by scaled score results.
